Welcome to Blackledge Miniature Dachshunds. We are located in Goodbee, Louisiana just
35 minutes drive North-North East of New Orleans, LA.
We truely love all of our Miniature
Doxie's so we try our best to provide the best housing and care for their physical and mental health
both in their younger breeding years and in their older retirement years. Click here for more information

It all started for us when we got a Miniature Doxie for a house pet.
We welcomed Atticus into the Blackledge family and quickly fell in love with this wonderful breed of
dog. We decided to get a female companion for our newest addition to the family, and the rest is history.
Doxie's are the perfect house pet. They do not shed hair all over the place, they are incredibly
loveable and playful, they love to snuggle and sit on laps, and are great with children. Doxie's are
very docile by nature and are not biting dogs. Dachshunds can scence when something is wrong with humans
and will offer a lot of affection to make you feel better.
We have 4.5 acres of land which
is a perfecf breeding ranch the dachshund breed of dog. We have kennels for our doxie's to sleep in at
night for their protection and plenty of room for them to run, play and get exercise during the day.
All of our doxie's are AKC (American Kennel Club) registered from good bloodlines and are gauranteed
healthy and free of any diseases or birth defects. All of our Miniaure Doxie's are treated with HeartGuard
monthly to keep them free of Heart worms and are wormed once a year to keep them free of intestinal parasites.
All pregnant Dam's receive a dose of De-Wormer to ensure that their puppies are born worm free. You can

If you are considering getting a small dog or pet for your family, the dachshund is without a
doubt the best choice you can make. All of our puppies are wormed and vaccinated with Vanguarg Plus 5L,
which is the same vaccine that local Veteranarians will give your puppy when you bring it to them. All
of our puppies are held and given a lot of human attention by us and our children which will help in
the transition from our family to your family.

All of our puppies are very competitively priced. We encourage you to check around and compare
our prices to other breeders.
For payments, we accept personal checks with 2 weeks, (14 calendar
days), time to clear bank, bank checks or we prefer Paypal. Our Paypal account is "vernon@blackledges.net".
We will hold a puppy of your choice with a $150.00 deposit. All puppies must be paid for in full by their
6 week birthday. Deposits are Non-Refundable. All of our puppies are up to date with their shots (vaccinations),
and are de-wormed before they are sent to their new family. We gaurantee all of our puppies to be healthy
and free of birth defects.

Sage is absolutely wonderful with Doxies. She knows everything about raising and breeding them. She
makes sure they are all bathed regularly, are fed and are healthy.
